JumpCloud pricing at a glance
JumpCloud bundles directory, SSO, MFA, device management and conditional access. It publishes per-user rates for its entry packages (Device Management $9/user/month, SSO $11/user/month annual), but the bundled Platform, Platform Essentials and Platform Prime tiers moved to quote-only (Contact Sales). Privileged Access Management is delivered through VaultOne, which JumpCloud acquired in May 2025, and sits in the now quote-only Platform Prime tier.

As of July 2026, JumpCloud publishes per-user rates only for its à la carte entry packages (Device Management, SSO, Device Identity Management). The bundled Platform, Platform Essentials and Platform Prime tiers show “Contact Sales” on the pricing page; the former $19 Platform and $24 Platform Prime list rates are no longer published.
Where JumpCloud PAM comes from
JumpCloud acquired VaultOne, a privileged access management vendor, in May 2025. PAM (privileged session brokering, credential vaulting, session recording) is delivered through the VaultOne technology and sits in the Platform Prime tier, which is quote-only. A published per-user PAM rate is no longer available; the PAM-bearing bundle requires a sales quote.
What JumpCloud is good at
- Single contract for directory, SSO, device and PAM. Reduces vendor count materially for SMB and mid-market.
- Free tier covers founding teams. 10 users + 10 devices is enough for a pre-seed evaluation.
- Published entry rates. Device Management, SSO and Device Identity Management carry public per-user numbers, no demo required.
What to watch on JumpCloud contracts
- PAM-grade features need Platform Prime, which is quote-only. Buyers comparing on the published $9 Device Management anchor should expect the PAM-bearing quote to land materially higher.
- Annual billing only on the published rates. Monthly billing is roughly 25% more.
- Add-on connectors (legacy AD, custom apps) can carry separate per-connection costs.
- Implementation effort is real. Identity migration and policy authoring is typically 60-200 engineering hours even on SaaS PAM.
Compare JumpCloud to alternatives
- Keeper Business: cheaper headline ($3.75/user/mo), password vault only.
- Okta Privileged Access: enterprise-grade equivalent, $17/user/mo Essentials Suite.
- ManageEngine PAM360: published list, on-premise.
